Logging into GNOME from GDM3. Desktop froze for about 30 seconds (with no mouse movement) without any wallpaper or GNOME shell top bar, but with SSD activity (so OS wasn't frozen). Returned to GDM3 in about 30 seconds. Logged in again and GNOME started fine.
