--- Comment #7 from Petr Šabata <psabata(a)redhat.com> ---
Sigh. Yes, I've been using Hangul input regularly.
The only difference is 1.5.0 v. 1.5.1 here.
In both cases I'm running a minimal installation (not Fedora Workstation) with
manually installed X.org and dwm.
Working scenario:
1. Install ibus-hangul 1.5.0 or with the appropriate frontend package, if
applicable, e.g. ibus-gtk3.
2. Run the ibus-daemon, "ibus-daemon -xrv"
3. Change the input method to Hangul, with Ctrl+Space (the default, yes).
4. Typing Hangul works in relevant applications, e.g. l3afpad for ibus-gtk3.
What doesn't work:
1. Install ibus-hangul 1.5.1, again with a frontend package.
2. Run ibus-daemon, "ibus-daemon -xrv"
3. Change the input method to Hangul, with Ctrl+Space (the default, yes).
4. Typing Hangul produces Latin characters no matter what.
As noted in my original report, this only started happening after upgrading to
1.5.1. For me, Japanese is also broken (both anthy and mozc). However,
Russian, Arabic, Farsi and Czech work perfectly fine here.
