Pandas is quite a general package that's commonly used by lots of other
Python packages. It isn't exactly neuroscience specific, it's more like
numpy.
So, I think we can perhaps help co-maintain it, but we probably don't
want to be the main maintainers/admins, since it is a dep for us and
we'd rather folks that actively use it directly maintain it?
Jonathan will be the admin maintainer. Being co-maintainer will keep us
in the loop of updates for (almost) free. ;)
List of packages depending on python3-pandas is attached.
Quite a list. How many of these are, roughly, neuro-sig specific?
Ballpark figure will do.
I plan on getting back to Jonathan at the end of the week. In case
others would like to chime in.
