I'm not sure if this is a know issue or not, I tried to build
Fedora
15 live iso but it fails because of unmet dependency:
Error creating Live CD : Failed to build transaction :
udisks-1.0.1-8.fc15.i686 requires ntfsprogs
Has anybody else tried creating Fedora 15 live iso and got it to work
or you also had same issue?
Yeah... I've done a number of builds... probably about 10 - 12 going back before the
Fedora 15 alpha release. Are you using a local mirror? I created my own just for the
process and always sync it before doing a build. Some of my builds have worked fine but
the last couple seem to get stuck during boot. I think I ran into systemd issues and
outdated kickstarts.
I can tell you that the state of the .ks files in the spin-kicstarts and fedora-kickstarts
(or whatever it is) in Fedora 15 isn't always good... or at least it wasn't last
time I checked. For example, I base my build off of the KDE kickstarts and the package is
missing one of the files it has an %include for. The package maintainer (Bruno) told me
to pull the kickstarts from git which I did. I haven't had a chance to rebuild since
then but it looks more complete.
If there is a temporary package missing at this second... always check the updates-testing
repo... as that might have the missing package. Sometimes a package accidentally gets
pushed to the main area and a dependency takes longer to get out of testing... which
causes temporary breakage. I did not investigate the specifics of your particular issue.
