Summary: users change the root password freely
Product: Fedora Localization
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86_64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: urgent
Priority: low
Component: Chinese Simplified [zh_CN]

Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
I was trying to install some x86_64 software from fedora with gpk-application
in my fedora 14. I have installed quite a lot of software then. After that, I
have notice that a icon (I'm not sure whether it is new.) :根口令 in the gnome
panel system->managerment (Of course with X running). Yes, I am using a Chinese
version. It is a soft link to /usr/bin/system-config-rootpassword, but when I
use it, I can change the root password directory without typing the root
password. I was using a normal user, not root. Therefore, I suggest that it is
a urgent dangerous bug. With this bug, every user can be root illegal.
