Hi folks,
I'm happy to mention that we're at a stage where a formal 'test release' of the 1.3.X branch is now feasible.
Source RPMs and tarballs are available here:
http://people.fedoraproject.org/~mdehaan/files/cobbler/
Refer to the list of new features here:
https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/wiki/WhatsNewInThirteen
Anything and everything is fair game for testing, the power management features are especially new, and the new network features (bonding, vlans, assured ordering) also could use attention. Feel free to see that your favorite features also continue to work -- though we've improved testing a fair amount since the last release (which should help).
If you have any Debian systems, also please feel free to test out Debian imports ("--breed=debian" on the import command line).
We're going to continue working on features that are in progress (and almost finished), though the more testing we can get on those the sooner we can release 1.4. Depending on the results of findings and the amount of changes we make, there may also be a follow up 1.3.2 test release.
Thank you!!!

I should also mention, two things that didn't get a lot of love when I mentioned them earlier, that really need your opinions and feedback:
Puppet External Nodes Integration Cobbler's lightweight config management system (you'll also need a new koan from the devel branch to try parts of it out)

Koan 1.3.1 is now also available for testing with cobbler.
Koan's changelog is as follows:
- update files feature for built in config management - static-interface feature for non-DHCP virt installs re-added - support for --kexec with --replace-self - changed some internals of --replace-self to support busybox - tolerate volume group names (for LVM) that contain hyphens - virtualized image cloning support - ppc and s390 provisioning - COBBLER_SERVER environment variable can be used in place of --server - replace bootif with link for ksdevice for non-PXE installs
This is also interwoven in the Wiki page linked above that explains features in greater depth.

Saw this in the rebuild of koan.. I probably introduced it:
writing byte-compilation script '/tmp/tmpfGFNV1.py' /usr/bin/python -O /tmp/tmpfGFNV1.py File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/koan/vmwcreate.py", line 124 profile_data=None, arch=None, no_gfx=False, fullvirt=True, bridge=None, , virt_type=None):
^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Should be fixed now, thanks!
