Hi all,
I'm a very new cobbler user. Successfully set up a cobbler server and used koan on another server to create a CentOS 5.4 vm. Very sweet.
Now I'm looking at some non-Linux guest OSes, namely Solaris 10 and Windows XP. It doesn't appear that cobbler supports this, or no one's doing it, or I'm looking in the wrong places, but I'm at a loss on how to do it.
The imports of the ISOs seemed to work, but no distros or profiles get listed after it completes. (I did 'cobbler import --path=/mnt/ --name=solaris10' for the Solaris import.)
So, are these non-Linux guest OSes supported/recommended, and if so, are there step-by-step instructions somewhere you could point me at?
To be completely clear, I'm only interested in virtual servers, not bare metal installations.
Thanks so much,
Mark
