I am trying running CentOS 5.3 x86_64 host and attempting to install a Xen client VM. For some reason the client does not seem to get the IP Address served up from my DHCP server. Initially, I considered it may be my DHCP server - but I have other machines being served up addresses just fine. BTW, not using Cobbler managed DHCP...
In messages.log, I see the discover/offer messages:
Apr 23 13:36:02 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:03 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.168.251 to 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:08 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:08 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.168.251 to 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:20 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:20 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.168.251 to 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:41 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0 Apr 23 13:36:41 adminserver dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.168.251 to 00:16:3e:72:a1:96 via eth0
In the VM, I can see the following:
DHCPDISCOVER on eth- 255.255.255 port 67 interval 6 DHCPDISCOVER on eth- 255.255.255 port 67 interval 12 DHCPDISCOVER on eth- 255.255.255 port 67 interval 21 DHCPDISCOVER on eth- 255.255.255 port 67 interval 7 DHCPv4 eth0 - TIMED OUT. dhcp: DHCP configuration failed eth0 is not a wireless adapter.
I installed Cobbler from an epel repo (I think it was 1.4.1). On the off-chance it was that version, I went out and installed off epel-test and am now runing Cobbler 1.6.1 and KOAN (whichever version is out there)...
Additionally, I tried updating xen and kernel-xen from CentOS updates/plus repos....
Has anyone seen this behavior?

I think this is more of a fedora-xen list question, than a Cobbler question.
Can't say offhand what it would be but we just kick off the install.

I don't think CentOS has a virt list.
