(B) Any changes to the importer are going to be limited to bugfixes
for
1.4 at this point as we need to be getting a release out soon. I need to
spend time testing new features and cannot continually re-test the importer.
OK,
Either for 1.4 or later, here is a patch for add_entry to create
rescue profiles for debian/ubuntu
http://github.com/javiplx/cobbler/commit/1e22790fd22cee5deb2c2a8f1fffee9e...
Notice that the line with 'self.api.serialize()' is duplicated, but as
I've done a mesh with
github while trying to solve a previous mistake, I've preferred not to
correct this one.
Regarding (A), I perfectly understand your points. And in any case,
you are the lead here.
But as you remember, include debian import was closer to a pain than
to a pleasure, and
the same will probably repeat for suse or any other new distro, unless
some reorganization
is done at some time.
