Please find attached a quick fix for the network snippets so they work at least.
Some checks that it misses is on which interface to put the hostname+gateway. This needs
to be extracted from the intf ip and subnet.

Since you are submitting a lot of patches, you might be interested in
hosting your own public git branch. Not required, but if you want to
do that, details are here:

It has the benefit of making the output of "gitk" include your name and
makes workflow a bit easier to track. Up to you.
