You can use an empty file, and it will just prompt you for all the
input like a normal interactive installation. Kind of defeats the
purpose of using cobbler, but you can do it. You should use the
default kickstarts that come with cobbler if you don't have any
attachment to your old ones, and you can change the root password in
the kickstart much easier.
Thank you, I will try out and modify the default kickstart until I get
the installation to work correctly.
