Doing some system renaming via the system webui, after making my changes I sync'ed and noticed that the webui differs form what the command lind reports

I also restarted cobblerd as well as rebooted (not needed..) the server, ended with the same result as above.

Just approved this because the attachment size made the mail bounce -- sorry about the delay.
So, this looks like cobbler 1.6.X. All new work is going against 2.0, and we're trying to get that package out of testing. You may wish to try that.
In 2.0, there is only one common state for cobbler objects -- cobblerd is authorative and they don't try to resolve states between the CLI and cobblerd, so any out of sync problems would not exist there. (That was a major reason for all the cleanup in 2.0 and remoting the command line so it spoke with cobblerd). Apologies if that explanation is overly technical/confusing.
Anyway, check out 2.0.X and there shouldn't be any problems with this.
