Our official font choices seem a little dated (circa 2010), compared to
what we're using in practice on the web and in other media:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design/Fedora_Branding_Fonts
For instance, our current choices on the [
https://getfedora.org web site]
and in other places include:
* [
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/open-sans Open Sans]
* [
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/montserrat Montserrat]
* [
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/overpass Overpass]* -- often used in
Red Hat related materials, may not be applicable for Fedora
The [
https://fedoramagazine.org Magazine] also makes use of
[
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/molot Molot],
[
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/roboto-slab Roboto Slab], and
[
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/grand-hotel Grand Hotel].
Whatever is decided here, it would be good to update both the
[
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design/Fedora_Branding_Fonts branding font
page] and the [
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Presentations/Template
official presentation template] accordingly.
