[in the below statements X = {1, 2, 3....10}] I was able to install and connect to a VNC session using "vncviewer -via XXXXX" however it was only after executing "systemctl start vncserver@:X.service' on the remote machine. Executing systemctl enable vncserver@:X.service results in: Failed to execute operation: No such file or directory Section 8.1.3. Starting VNC Server states: systemctl enable vncserver@:display_number.service however, unless one creates a file such as: vncserver@:X.service the command systemctl enable vncserver@:X.service does not work. After some time with the help of [coolmadmax] on IRC://#Fedora, I was able to understand this was where I was missing a step. I think it would help to add some clarifying statements here to help others. Actual results: 20.4.3 suggests: rm /etc/grub.d/* ## probably not necessary rm /etc/sysconfig/grub command ## obsolete On UEFI-based machines, issue the following command as root: ~]# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.cfg ## stale location, is now fedora not redhat. IMO it would improve the document to add a "short" table of contents before the existing long table of contents. Something with the following level of detail would be good: Preface 1. Target Audience 2. How to Read this Book 3. Document Conventions 4. We Need Feedback! 5. Acknowledgments I. Basic System Configuration 1. Opening Graphical Applications 2. This makes our life hard because Google is offering these old docs all the time and people are trying to use it, despite the fact that it is outdated. Please add BIG FAT warning on top of each page in the guide and say 'This is outdated, go and read http://www.freeipa.org/page/Documentation instead!' I imagine something like Warning box on top of each page before any other text. I have no idea if it is possible or not. I can do this easily with the widget, but I can't find the parameters to give with the nmcli command. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): nmcli tool, version 1.2.2-2.fc25 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to find command-line swith to emulate selecting LEAP security in the widget. Actual results: Can't connect with nmcli Expected results: It would be nice if the applet could print the parameters needed for an nmcli connection.
