Hello everybody,
Can someone please build xcircuit on KDE and check whether the crash
happens? The entire thread can be found in link 1.
It refers to a bug[2] reported in Launchpad on Ubuntu and as Chitlesh
mentioned before "a blocker" :P for the latest upstream version to
enter the Fedora repos.

Dear Aanjhan,
A hint I got is that the program crashes before
it reaches the "else" condition that is changed. Is that of any
significance?
Yes, that's certainly significant. However, I cannot get the program
to crash on my computer, and I can't figure out the sequence of events
leading up to the crash. The program crashes when the mouse motion
event handler is called. Apparently at that time, the memory location
of the wire has become invalid, even though the startcatalog() routine
has not yet been called.
This is probably due to the window manager making X event calls, which
may happen differently on your system than on mine. Tomorrow when I
get my desktop computer back, I will try to reproduce the error under
the gnome desktop, and see if that makes a difference. It may be
necessary to force cancellation of mouse motion event handler callbacks
in a different place.
I'll let you know tomorrow or Tuesday if I can reproduce the crash on
any computer that I have available.
Regards,
Tim
