Hi, Was a bit busy this month. A simple banner to be put up at 2 entrance gates of the college during conference days is at [1]. Travel = $350 Hotel = not sure (ok with what organizers provides) (I need a hotel only for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.) * If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful? (Yes/No) NO * What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.) ** First of all I would like to get the opportunity of participating to the first (officially 2nd) FUDcon for APAC. Hi all! We are thrilled to announce that FUDCon Pune website [1] is up and running now. Below are some FAQs: How do I register for FUDCon Pune 2011? * Visit the website [1] and login via OpenID or register for a new account. Once you have logged in to the site, goto EVENTS SIGNUP -> FUDCON PUNE. Then click Sign Up. Can I use my existing FAS account as OpenID login? * Yes, to login via FAS OpenID login, you follow the instructions on Fedora OpenID page. I would like to present or talk at FUDCon Pune. How do I do that? * Thats simple indeed. After you have logged in to the website [1], you can create a session [3], stating the details about your talk or session. Behind the scenes, there has been a lot of work involved to bring this website to good shape. However there might still be more things that we can do. So do let us know on how we can improve it. Hi The IRC meeting last Friday got cancelled because of FUDCon Milan and I couldn't get hold of Jared Smith (probably because he was busy with the event). In the AuthFAS module there is a mandatory parameter which essentially requires an approved group. So it makes it a bit difficult since a new user wouldn't be in a group unless approved. FUDCon Website - COD setup status

Hello Vaidik, I configured the hostname as myfedora.org in /etc/hosts and created a virtual host Apache to server Drupal for that host. Today, I had a look at your version of the theme [1], it looks very nice. Can you commit it to the git repo. Here are a few things that we need to incorporate: * We need to apply an update the the code base as shown in the screenshot [2]. * Provide a database dump NOTE: All these steps were done on my local instance of Drupal COD installation which can be created as stated in wiki [8]. First I enabled AuthFAS module, but I later decided to disable it as any user would need to be present in a approved group in FAS. We can discuss on that later. For now, I have enabled Drupal's core OpenID module. It works fine with any OpenID provider including FAS [6]. I have also uploaded the database [7] dump which I sanitized and minimized like so: Reset admin password [3] UPDATE users SET pass = md5('newpassword') WHERE uid = 1; Clear log entry table [4]: DELETE FROM watchdog; ALTER TABLE watchdog AUTO_INCREMENT = 0; Clear cache tables [5]: DELETE FROM cache; I will later commit this dump to the git repo. Now I plan to host the complete steup to some proper domain. I have one which I can use for testing.
