Travel = Total: $1,391.29 I do not have information about event accommodation at this time to include that on my request. * If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful? (Yes/No??) No, I do need full subsidy this time * What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.) I have the intention to make a hacking session about l10n tools. I'd like to work on gettext library and point out how to write localizable software. We'll go over downstream code, and envisage how it works behind the scenes. In addition, we would draw on Transifex, tx, and trans repositories. Moreover, I would also like to give a talk about recruit new contributors for ambassadors. As I am requesting sponsorship I will accommodate to any schedule. * Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take? Not as far as I know. I will double check and confirm. * Include any additional, relevant information. I need to travel with someone due to I am a minor. Any Nicaraguan contributor to Fedora Project can be companion. FUDCon coming this summer/fall?

So there has been a dribbling of information about having one large global FUDCon later this year along with one regionial FUDCon that is already in the planning stages. My question is if there is a planned FUDCon in North America later this year when will an open discussion of that begin? Will it be organized as FUDCons have been organized over the past several years or is there a new process being used for this FUDCon? If a new process is being used can we get that process out in the open? John
