Hi guys,
in last few weeks the Italian ambassadors and I have worked hard to finalize some details about the next FUDCon "Milan". We're working with the guys in the University to find the best weekend to avoid other events in Milan (and keep the price of the hotels low) and other events planned in the University.
Yesterday night we had the last meeting and we agreed that October 1st and 2nd is the best weekend for the FUDCon Milan.
What do you think about that? Is it convenient for everyone?
Who has now to make it "official"?
Hope to hear you soon! :-)
Take care Francesco

If you are happy with those dates, I'll make it official. Thank you choosing a date, and I look forward to working with you and the rest of the FUDCon Planning team in preparing for FUDCon Milan. I would like to start having weekly meetings (in IRC) to discuss the preparations for FUDCon -- is there a time during the week that works best for you and the rest of the FUDCon Milan team?

Hi Jared,
The Italian team has in place a conference call (skype/ekiga/webex/whatever...) at 10pm (GMT time) every Wednesday (we meet each other on #fedora-it). The conf. call is in Italian to encourage every local ambassador (and other people involved, like the contacts in University) to participate.
If it's not a problem you could join the conference at 11pm GTM [1] to sync with the group.
Does it make sense? Let me know and see you soon!
Francesco

Francesco, is it a good idea to start spreading the word about the event and/or the planning meetings?
Do you think it would be useful to make this a "formal" activity? I mean, something like having a dedicated spokesperson who prepares the news text and send it around.

Hi guys,
Hi Francesco, I checked the date with people around (and I know you already talked to Radek) and it's actually perfect timing, so +1.
