Actually those options there are the ones we build Fedora for.
would disable neon for all builds. I don't know if llvm
is able to generate runtime detection+code for neon.
Nor do I but it would be nice!
How relevant is tegra2 and other SoC's without neon these days?
It's still the target we build for, there's a number of chips from Marvell that
don't have NEON either. There's a number of projects that do run time detection
of NEON.
If I do a scratch build of ghc without neon is someone able
and willing to test it on a system with neon support?
Yes. Just need the process to do so.
