stop tracking via killall sounds not convinient. How about consider some
command optioins like
memtrace start
memtrace stop
memtrace cat
etc..
Since this a c application so we cat not have a start/stop interface.
But we can have a shell script on top of it which will help us with
start/stop functionality.
Will that be fine?
I have not looked at the code details, will try and test it first.
