I have looked into this and we talked about this in the meeting. We agreed
that using syslog is not an option due to the number of problems this
creates.
However we agreed that we want slaves to run as daemons and store their
status logs into '/var/log/lnst/'.
On slaves we can count on having root privileges therefore we will be
storing the logs here directly, and maybe use syslog for the basic info
messages.
