I think this is what Kevin and Dennis don't want to see. You need to make
sure you are in your fork when you do a push, unless you are going to
just push a tag. As far as I know we still can't create tags in pagure,
but there is an issue for it. I have accidentally done this myself.
If you don't ever need to push tags, but you have admin access, it is
safer not to have a local repo of the main project.
What I like to do is create refs to the main project from the local copy
of my fork, to make refreshing my fork easier. Unfortunately clone won't
copy remote refs so we can't give this setup to people by default.

if you add a remote for the main repo you can push your tags directly to it
from your fork. But no one should be commiting directly to the repo, all
commits from every person should be going in a PR's and having peer review
