Hi everybody,
i just installed the new kernel 2.6.16-1.2111_FC5xen0 via yum update. now xen seems to be broken !
everything woked with 2.6.16-1.2107_FC5xen before but now if i try 'xm list' i get 'Error: Error connecting to xend: Connection refused. Is xend running?' this is the same for x86 and x86_64 system.
also xen debug output on serial console shows XEN3.0.0 instead of XEN3.0.2-2 as before the upgrade !
looks like some old stuff was integrated suddenly - can anybody confirm this ? if yes i will enter a bugzilla immediately !
regards, Matthias

I have the same problem, I can repeat it on two different installations. I had to revert back to 2.6.16-1.2107_FC5xen again.

I also had problems with this new version. My internal domains were without network. I had to come back toward the version: 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5.

2.6.16-1.2122_FC5(xen0|xenU) is working fine for me, including networking.
Therefore for me also IT WOULD HAVE to function. Simply when initiating the virtual machine with version 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5, the net don't works. Is only to come back toward version 2096 that all return to the normal.
In DomU "/etc/modprobe.conf" with "alias eth0 xennet" In Dom0 (network-script network-nat) (vif-script vif-nat); vif=[ 'ip=10.0.0.1/16, vifname=eth1' ]
I repeat, with these configurations, today work perfectly with version: 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5.
- What it would be more necessary?
Grateful for helping me.
