Greetings,
I am trying to set up cobbler repos for Fedora 17 using the instructions
provided here:
https://github.com/cobbler/cobbler/wiki/Manage%20yum%20repos
I am attaching the output of 'cobbler report' so you can see my repo
definitions. See file mycobbler.report.txt, attached.
When I attempt to do a 'cobbler reposync' I get the error message listed in
file 'mycobbler.reposync.error.txt', also attached.
I then do a 'cobbler repo edit' to change the name of the URL string so that
'http://' is prepended. See file mycobbler.report2.txt, also attached.
After editing the URL string, I get the error message text you see here, in
file 'mycobbler.reposync.error2.txt', also attached.
It would seem, based on this error, that the issue is the remote repo
(from your second error output):
Exception value: Damaged repomd.xml file
So it looks like you're doing it right, it's just that the remote repo
has an error.
