There are a few more options than even this, for instance in our
configs
where we have active-backup we specifically set which nic is the
primary
interface. Not sure if we want to account for all possible options,
but
there are more.
You can also add the options to the ifcfg-bond0 file as below:-
DEVICE=bond0
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=<ip address>
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
BONDING_OPTS="mode=active-backup miimon=100"
