I can even choose not to use cobbler and re-produce this problem.
I created a kickstart file using "
https://access.redhat.com/labs/kickstartconfig/"
Stored it on a HTTPD server.
Kept the DVD.iso of RHEL 7.2 on the same HTTPD server
Booted using the RHEL 7.2 Boot DVD.
At the grub menu,
Added inst.ks=http://webserver/sources/rhel7.ks
I kept watching the access_log on the HTTPD server.
