I am using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, not CentOS.
I got nothing back from "yum provides */virt-unstall" run on the system.

virt-install should be provided by python-virtinst. I see it in the CentOS-Base repo.

Probably. koan is helpful for VM installs and for kicking off reinstalls on a physical
machine. But you can just PXE boot to start the install.
