Howdy, all!
I'm in the process of setting up a Katello server at work. I started with v1.3, but,
since I wanted better Foreman integration, I updated to the nightlies on Fri (9/6/2013).
Something I noticed, which I'm hoping isn't a permanent change: I used to be
able to log in to the katello server like so:
https://katello.mydomain.com/katello
However, now it's this:
https://katello.mydomain.com/signo?return_url=https://katello.mydomain.co...
Which is cool, but it makes it hard to tunnel from my workstation, through our jump host,
to the katello server (it's firewalled off by default).
https://katello.mydomain.com/signo?return_url=https://localhost:10000/kat...
Is there somewhere in the config that I can change this so it doesn't do the
redirect?
Thanks!
David
Hi David,
I believe you can disable this feature by modifying
/etc/katello/katello.yml.
Search for the string "sso" in the YAML file and change the value for
the "enable" attribute from "true" to "false". Then restart
Katello
using "katello-service restart".
Also, please note that if you run "katello-configure" again, your change
to katello.yml will be overwritten.
