Postgres 9.4 and up support a jsonb type that has some really nice features.
It would be really nice for us to use in Koji. Koji could actually query
based on structural data in a jsonb field, and even index on it.

Question 1: What version of Postgres are you using for your Koji instance(s)
Question 2: How would you be impacted if Koji required 9.4 or greater?
Note that Postgres 9.4 and 9.5 are available as software collections for
RHEL6 and RHEL7.
I have been using PostgreSQL 9.6 for the most part, though I have some
using PostgreSQL 9.5 as well. I don't have a problem with PostgreSQL
9.4 as a minimum requirement.
