OpenID failure on login to MirrorManager
by Andrew Yager
Hi,
I'm getting "OpenID request was cancelled" when I'm trying to jump into
Mirror Manager; it looks like at some stage our mirror dropped off the list
and maybe our mirror codebase was out of date, and I wanted to look at the
logs to see what was going on.
I can see this might have happened before and just been temporary, but I've
been trying for a couple of hours and haven't been able to get in.
Is anyone else having the same issue?
Thanks,
Andrew

SRPMS -> source and links
by Kevin Fenzi
Greetings.
Over the past few years we have had some confusion and breakage around
updates and epel repos using a SRPMS dir for source rpms and Beta and GA
releases using source/tree/ for source rpms.
We recently decided to standardize all of them to use source/tree as
that is what pungi (The tool that composes both updates and releases)
uses. This will avoid translating this directory and everything will be
named the same.
Unfortunately, this move caused problems for some folks that were
expected the SRPMS dir. We are sorry for any inconvience you might have
suffered due to this change. In an effort to allow time to adjust
scripting, we have put in place symlinks from the old SRPMS to
source/tree. These links will be removed at f35 branching ( currently
scheduled for Tue 2021-08-10 ). Hopefully this will give everyone time
to adjust things.
Mirrormanager already uses the new directories, so most users will not
even notice this change.
If you see any issues due to the symlinks or have other concerns, please
let us know.
Thanks!
