Hi all,
Are there any other Tier-1 mirrors y'all are aware of that may not be listed at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/Mirroring/Tiering#Tier_1_mirro... ?
Trying to get a full copy of fedora-enchilada from the master mirrors since Friday, and it is still chugging along at around 50-60mbits/sec. I'm on a 1gb connection.
The US-based tier 1 mirrors that are in the list either don't have fedora-buffet available (kind of strange to have a Tier-1 without all content), don't have fedora-enchilada set up properly, don't allow rsync from my address, or are always at max connections allowed (kernel.org).
Doesn't leave much for a Tier-2 to sync from.

I meant to post about this the other day, but didn't get to it yet, but:
There are 2 mirrors run by fedoraproject.org that folks are welcome to sync from (and have the same acls at the master mirrors for pre-bitflip).
One of them is currently down ( download-cc-rdu01.fedoraproject.org ). The hardware it was on completely died and is being replaced, but the replacement machine isn't in place yet. It should be there in coming weeks. I'll let everyone know when that happens.
The other is download-ib01.fedoraproject.org, located at ibibilo in NC, US. It has buffet/archives now and should be in pretty close sync. You could try this host and see if it's any better network wise?

Thanks Kevin!
I actually had found that one a while back at some point and use it to sync epel.
That one gives me around 100.
I killed the quick sync script and forced it to use dl01, and am getting around 150 now. Not terrible, not the best.... Chernobyl style 🙂 . It's plugging along.
