* Fri Nov 16 2008 Jakub Jelinek <jakub(a)redhat.com> 3.3.0-4
- add suppressions for glibc 2.9
After upgrade to glibc-2.9-2, valgrind complains about many things in
ld.so, libc.so and other glibc libraries. The problem is that valgrind
suppressions are written for each glibc version and don't support
character ranges in wildcards. Valgrind 3.3.0-4 adds suppressions for
glibc 2.9.

So, Flash 10 exists, which does not require libflashsupport for audio.
Given that... should we still be shipping it?
(Yes, it's late.)

The koji build nvr (name-version-release)
ipa-1.2.0-3.fc11
A description of what you want to change
Include version 1.2.0 in Fedora 10
Rationale for why the change is important enough to be allowed in after
the final freeze.
The current version does not work properly since fedora-ds-base was
updated to version 1.1.3.
It is impossible to install a new server from scratch in Fedora 10, ipa-
server-install aborts with errors.
Impact of *not* accepting the development at this point of the schedule.
Freeipa will be broken from the get go.
Information on what testing you've already done on the development to help
reduce the risk.
1.2.0 is the basis for RHEIPA 1.1 we have already doen a lot of internal
QE based on freeipa 1.2.0 codebase, additional testing have been done both
with Fedora 9 and with Fedora 10 preview (updated with the latest
available packages), to make sure all is working in F10 with freeipa 1.2.0

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but I want to make sure that these
change will appear in the final KDE live images (so it must be merged in
F-10 branch).
Description:
These changes make sure that alsa-utils and pulseaudio-utils appear on the
KDE live images to unmute the sound correctly.
Without these packages the sound will be muted on a normal startup.
In addition to this kmix only shows one mixer (PCM) by default which will
not enough to unmute the sound (Master) if it's not unmuted automatically.
So this may confuse some users.
The addition of pulseaudio-utils is a workaround for

* Thu Nov 13 2008 Jakub Jelinek <jakub(a)redhat.com> 2.9-2
- glibc 2.9 release
- fix CPU_ALLOC_SIZE on 32-bit arches (BZ#7029)
* Wed Nov 12 2008 Jakub Jelinek <jakub(a)redhat.com> 2.8.90-17
- update from trunk
- don't abort on broken DNS replies (#469299, BZ#7009)
- misc fixes (BZ#6966, BZ#7008, BZ#6955, BZ#6843)
I'll still need to rebuild valgrind (which has still /lib*/lib*2.8.so
wildcards in its suppressions and doesn't allow /lib*/lib*2.[789].so in
wildcards), but that can be done only when this glibc hits dist-f10-build.

I'd like to request -17 be pushed into Fedora 10 final as it addresses a
security hole in the GNU libc DNS resolver. This workaround in -17 has
fixed this.
Thanks.

This version of smolt fixes bug 470829. Basically smolt would send a
trace if it was started with no network during firstboot. Its listed as a
blocker bug so the options are to change it from a blocker to a non
blocker and send this as a 0day update (not that useful for people with
firstboot)
or let it through. There's a low risk if this package is not approved for
F10 as smolt will continue to send via a monthly update even if the
initial send fails. The trace it sends is hidden from the user typically.
I've tested this against preview1 and it seemed to work fine.
