Maybe a related problem, in Fedora Rawhide (Preview Release for F10) I set
g-p-m to suspend when pressing the power button. But instead it shuts my laptop
down...
System -> Preferences -> System -> Power Management -> [General] -> When the
power button is pressed: [Suspend]
