Hello Brian and thank for the answer
I do not know If Edward is a Peruvian or either if he is in Lima. I have
fostered my team and taught them how to coordinate events, even more, I am
guiding Solanch remotely and I consider myself still active, the only thing
is that I am not attending online to the LATAM meetings because it is on
Friday (I can make it on weekends) and I want Solanch and Martin can attend
in my behalf on fridays to be more involved with Fedora LATAM. We are going
to continue the Fedora events in Lima because my idea was always in
training my people and continuing this work with or without me.
Maybe I will open a ticket to celebrate the Fedora Lima release event with
my account and say in that ticket that the organization on-site is going to
be in charge of Martin and Solanch.
In case there is needed for financial purposes, I suggest that Martin and
Solanch become Fedora Amabassor Peru in case I will take a longer
internship here in the lab. I have been their Fedora mentor for years as
well as the other Lima Linux that have their FAS account since years. Both
Martin and Solanch have more than two years in raw helping me in the Linux
local community in Lima, Peru. I hope their efforts can be recognized some
day.
Best regards,
Julita

Perhaps Eduard Lucena (x3mboy) could help them. He is sitting on
Mindshare and aiui is an active ambassador in LATAM. He knows where the
conversations are likely to drive toward from Mindshare's perspective.
These folks may represent a chance for LATAM and Mindshare to test some new
ideas while also fostering continuing events in Lima.
Have fun in the US!
