squashfs.img - is it possible to move to a ramdrive before chroot ?

Hi,

I'd like to make a live distro but I don't want to let the pendrive mounted.
Is it possible create a ramdrive, copy the squashfs.img to a ramdrive and after that mount
the root dir ?

That's how we used to do things, back before Fedora 17, IIRC. A big
problem with that is memory usage so we opted for leaving the media
mounted and running from there.

And do you know if the code is still there, I mean, using a parameter can I
configure to use in these mode ?

Use the rd.live.ram=1 parameter.

In my case, I add the below line at the ks file

bootloader --append="rhgb quiet rd.live.ram=1"
