Hi

Is there any documentation for the image-creator script that is part of the
livecd-tools package? What's the purpose of this script?

Usually you don't see documentation for symlinks. (have a look)

Ah, I see. Thank you for pointing that out.

I was confused because I tried the image-creator command, and that
produced a completely different file, more than 3GB large, compared to
livecd-creator, and with extension of .img. After looking in the code,
I understand why.

How do I use such an image? I tried to dd it to a memory card, e.g. to
/dev/sdc, but it wouldn't boot from that device.
