Hey, I'd like to write an article about Magic Wormhole [1] - a
tool to send
files form one computer to another safely.
It still requires a server (magic-wormhole-transit-relay), but the
pronounceable key is a nice touch. It is really yet another work
around for people stuck with IP4, as with IP6, existing tools already
do the job (except for the nice pronounceable key feature).
Maybe I should write another article in my "decentralized" series,
referencing this one for comparison, and showing several peer to peer
methods. My favorite is simply to use 'nc' (nmap-ncat) to send a file
directly to a cjdns (authenticated, p2p encrypted) IP, but e.g. p2p
email has it's own advantages. It doesn't take *that* long to relay an
IPv6 over a voice channel once you learn Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta,
Echo, Foxtrot.
