Would anyone be opposed to removing this superfluous tag [magazine] on all post subjects? Almost all mail systems nowadays can sort and folderize by list, so it seems unnecessary. (Most Fedora lists remove this tag, and I'm not sure why mailman uses it as a default these days, but whatevs.)
I'm agreed if we have concensus, because I use it even when I tag all ML's emails I use a "Meta" tag and this tag helps me a lot to read mails from that Meta tag.

I'm not set on this one way or another. It makes it a little easier for me to figure out what is what on my phone (sadly don't have filtering on my phone email client), but I don't really use it enough to justify having it or not.
I'm +0 for this since I'm not really affected.

Since there was no pushback and relatively OK consensus, I'm removing it now. Note that you can still filter with List-Id, X-BeenThere, To, or Cc, depending on what your mail client/service allows. (I use Gmail so it's "list:magazine@lists.fpo" for me.)
