Hi Matt,
It looks like right now we have
RSYNCSOURCE=rsync://download.wpi.edu:874/fedora-enchilada
I'm happy to change that to a location that's better for all of us.
Sincerely,
-Alex

Thanks Alex. I've added you, and removed joe, as the listed
administrator now. You can log in at
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager and
you'll see the MIT SIPB site and
mirrors.mit.edu host thereunder.
I've put in Autonomous System Number 3, which will pick up all IPv4 and IPv6 address
blocks . The mirrorlists are correctly returning your mirror first for ASN 3, and because
you're connected to Internet2, the first 17 additional US mirrors are all I2-connected
too. This includes all the address ranges on the web page you reference, including MIT
GUEST wireless. It does not include the Woods Hole address space, and a quick traceroute
seems to indicate that's reasonable. If you think it makes sense to add it to your
mirror entry in MirrorManager, please do so.
Furthermore, from where are you pulling Fedora content? As you're on I2 and only
about 13 hops away from our download-i2 master mirrors, I'd be happy to add an rsync
ACL entry for your servers so you can pull content over I2. Please advise.
Here's what a mirrorlist looks like now for IPs in your block:
$ wget -q -O -
'https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-19&arch=x86_64&ip=18.0.0.1'
# repo = fedora-19 arch = x86_64 Using ASN 3 Using Internet2 country = US country = MX
country = CA

Hi Matt,
I'm one of the administrators of
mirrors.mit.edu, and also a Fedora contributor
already: my FAS username is achernya. I'll be happy to serve as contact.
We already sync EPEL:
http://mirrors.mit.edu/epel/, I will double-check that rsync is
also configured correctly.
I will look into running the report_mirror script soon; we're currently planning on
increasing our storage capacity, so I'd like to avoid making too many changes at
once.
The mirror itself is on 18/8 only, but all of MIT's address space is enumerated on
http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=46301207
Sincerely,
-Alex

don't know if this is correct or not anymore, but suspect it may not be. We would
like to have one or more individual Fedora Account System usernames listed as the
administrator for your server, so we can contact you if necessary (such as this note). If
Joe is no longer the right administrator, please advise, and have someone create a Fedora
Account System account (
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts), and provide us with
that account name so we can add them as an administrator to our database. Once done, you
can edit your mirror's information in the MirrorManager database at

there other networks or Autonomous System numbers that should be listed for you?
