Application French translator position

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to apply for the position of Translator (English-French) for your Company.

I am a French national and I studied English at University (I have a Master's degree
in English and a Postgraduate degree in Literary Translation).

I did a work placement at Les Presses de la Renaissance, working as the Assistant to the
Rights Sales Manager.

I also translated summaries of books (from French into English) for the catalogue of Les
Presses de la Renaissance.

I have worked for four months as an Assistant in the Literary Agency "Agence Michelle
Lapautre" in Paris.

I would like to broaden my professional experience and I am very interested in this
offer.

I am available and would be happy to do a translation test.
