I'm Jarrett Lee and I work for a managed services company called
CedarCrestone. We plan to create an internal-only mirror of EPEL for use within our

inform you of this and ask a question.
Is the registration required or desired for private mirrors?
Also, our egress IP appears to be 216.83.163.132 for the system which will be performing
the rsync, but this could change as we have at least three possible routes to the
internet.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is any additional information requested
of me or my organization.
You need to an entry for your mirror server in MirrorManager[1]. Please
sync from a tier 1 or 2 mirror[2]. Just at the three possible IP
addresses in MirrorManager as "Site-local Netblocks" and MirrorManager
will redirect clients coming from one of those addresses to your private
mirror. If there are any more questions do not hesitate to ask.
