#6332: include some updates in Atomic Host ISO

Right now we have a pretty important bug in the F23-based ISO that is
fixed an update:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-1b6b8653f0
Lowest risk is to create a curated updates repo with just that update, and
include it in the lorax run.

#6338: Add epel-rpm-macros to EPEL6 buildroot

Similarly to the EPEL7 branch, we are working on an epel-rpm-macros
package for EPEL6 with the goal of making EPEL6 packaging at least
slightly less different than EPEL7 and Fedora packaging.
Currently epel-rpm-macros-6-1 is in EPEL6 stable, and many mass rebuilds
have been done to make sure that there are no build failures caused, and
no difference in the resulting packages as shown by rpmdiff. I believe
that it's now ready for general use.
Could this package be added to the EPEL6 buildroot?
A similar request will follow for EPEL5, but that package isn't yet ready.

#6308: Requesting side-tag for Node.js 4.x update in Rawhide

The Node.js SIG would like to start the process of upgrading Rawhide/F24
to use the latest LTS version of Node.js. In order to avoid significant
breakage, we would like to build in a side-tag until a sufficient set of
the core packages are prepped and ready to be merged.

#6335: Please untag xmlada-2015-8.fc24.

I would like to have xmlada-2015-8.fc24 removed from Rawhide and
xmlada-2015-7.fc23 reinstated, please. I think this is the place to
request such things?
It turns out that XMLada segfaults if it's been built with
gcc-5.3.1-3.fc24 or gcc-5.3.1-2.fc23, but it works if built with
gcc-5.1.1-4.fc23. The broken package prevents further builds in Koji
because it's build-time dependent on itself, so I need to get it removed.
Then I'll need a way to get a working package built before GCC 6 lands in
Rawhide. Can a buildroot override replace a package with an older version?
Would it be OK if I'd make a buildroot override with GCC 5.1.1 for a short
while?

#6324: Koji tag for Ruby 2.3

Hello,
Ruby 2.3 [1] was proposed as a feature for F24. Since there is soname bump
involved, we would like to get a new Koji tag to be able to build them
separately. This would help to prevent approx 150 broken packages reports
and give use safe fallback if something goes unexpectedly wrong.

#6331: Add f24-python-macros side tag

Moving the python macros into a separate package. This requires
coordinating builds of python, python3, and redhat-rpm-config with
potential for build root breakage.

#6327: Missing ppc64le builds
--------------------+------------------------
Reporter: ellert | Owner: rel-eng@…
Type: task | Status: new
Milestone: | Component: epel

Hi!
I submitted an epel7 build to koji and it failed due to missing
dependencies for ppc64le:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=12495148
Is there a time schedule for completing the missing package builds? Is
there a list somewhere of all the missing stuff and what the status is for
them?
I tried to submit a scratch build for the missing package (globus-ftp-
client-8.27-1) to see if there was something wrong with it. This also
failed due to another missing package (globus-authz-3.11-1). I then
submitted a scratch build of that package - which succeeded, so it looks
like there isn't anything broken just missing builds.
Interestingly, there are ppc64le builds of older versions of the missing
packages: globus-authz-3.10-2 and globus-ftp-client-8.25-1 - but not for
the latest versions currently in epel. So the packages are missing the
ppc64el build root. I didn't look through all the packages I maintain, so
there might be more affected.
