Have been seeing this for awhile, but cannot find any information on it and the BZ entries look like they are being ignored. Don't know how to trouble shoot it. Can anyone help? grub.conf is not being updated and a kernel update takes over 15 minutes to complete. TOP shows most of the time being spent in nash, then grubby.

Really would like to know how to fix this or know someone cares enough to fix the rawhide pkg that is causing this error. Thanks.

afaik, the fix was one of the last mkinitrd's.

Interesting...yet it looks like I am up-to-date. You would think the maintainer would indicate fixed in the bz's. Other folks seeing this, but bz's not annotated with a fix. See for example: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=267661
