Could we get a reason? Bug fixes? Features? Security? Do we leave it up to me to ask GnuCash what the difference is?

Yes
The only reason I ask... With Redhat, I can prioritize based on what kind of update it is. I can focus on security updates right away. With the current Fedora, I have to do some research. Just lazy, I guess.

Because there's a new version. Nothing more than that.
Bug fixes? Features? Security?
If it's security, the notice will state somewhere, probably in the subject as well as the body. We'll get it more standardized soon.
