I had the issue first start appearing with -4. It turned out there was a timeout and if you wait several minutes the system would finish booting. --
I guess I'm just impatient. I wonder why I didn't have the timeout problem with -4. Upgraded to -6, and all appears to be well
I used the i686 rpm which may account for the difference. One theory in the bug tracking this is that there was a race during the build process and some builds were getting corrupted, but maybe not all of them.
