kernel build is failing and I'm not sure how to fix. yum-builddep kernel doesn't install anything else. docbook-dtds is already installed.

I'm trying with installing docbook5-style-xsl, since I've found these old bugs: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=428168 and http://www.spinics.net/lists/fedora-devel/msg76290.html . It's a shot in the dark but it may work.
Didn't work. Installing the default packages suggested by the wiki http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Building_a_custom_kernel, rpmdevtools yum-utils didn't work. -doc didn't work. So, rpmbuild -bb --with pae, debug, debuginfo --without doc --target=`uname -m` kernel.spec, still doesn't work.
I was able to make it work with 'rpmbuild (...) --without perf' . I'm thinking it's an upstream bug, I'm going to report it in LKML in a few days if no-one here says it isn't upstream fault.
