Gnome Terminal 3.16.1 (as in f22) doesn't support middle-click pasting of the selection, even though I: (1) Have set Middle-click Paste to ON in gnome-tweak-tool, *and*: (2) have the following in my ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini:
[Settings] gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=0 gtk-enable-primary-paste=true
See https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Terminal/FAQ#How_can_I_make_middle-click_paste_t...
Obviously not a shostoper, but rather annoying. (I'd use KDE konsole. but it doesn't handle the scroll wheel, which I've gotten used to.)

It occurred to me: Maybe this is a problem with Gnome on Wayland. And indeed: Middle-lick does work if I run plain Gnome. (And the scroll-wheel works on Konsole.)
I guess Wayland isn't quite ready for prime time. (Evince/Document Viewer also has problems on Wayland.)

It's not just GNOME. It's just plain not-a-thing in Wayland, currently.

Middle-click paste works on at least some non-Gnome applications, including Konsole and Emacs, when running on Gnome-on-Wayland.

Those aren't native wayland apps.

Well, sure, which is why it's not 'prime time' yet :) It's always good to report these issues with Wayland, but something that obvious I'd guess probably is already reported...still, check with the #fedora -desktop folks.

I was confused, possibly by the "Login Screen Over Wayland" feature (which I clearly didn't read closely enough or mid-remembered).
I was hopeful, because there is one important feature that Gnome over Wayland has handled better than plain Gnome: Managing multiple monitors. The Settings/Display configurator has been rather flakey for a while (going back a while to F21 until very recently), refusing to Arrange Combined Displays as requested, and refusing to make the external monitor primary. (This is possibly related to that my external monitor is UHD.)
It's correct right now, but I'm not sure I trust it yet ...
