FYI, Fedora 14 Alpha testers:
Please read the following, since this update issue will hit you after you install Fedora 14 Alpha and then update.
We probably need to spread this news out wider and add to the Common F14 bugs page.

Heya!
We shifted a few files around and most likely your /etc/systemd/system/default.target link will now point into the void, in case anaconda wrote it. If that happens to you and you end up in a rescue shell instead of a full system after booting with v8, then please execute the following:
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target /etc/systemd/systemd/default.target
or
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/multi-user.target /etc/systemd/systemd/default.target
You can also choose to boot up into a normal system without the correct default.target link, by passing "5" resp "3" on the kernel cmdline.
Sorry for breaking this (again), but with this in place things should be at the appropriate places now for F14.
The bug against anaconda is already filed.

Hello Lennart, it should be
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target /etc/systemd/system/default.target
or
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/multi-user.target /etc/systemd/system/default.target
isn't it? :-) BTW thanks for systemd. Kind regards

thank you, i was wondering if i have to reinstall :)
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target
/etc/systemd/systemd/default.target
here's what i get:
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target /etc/systemd/systemd/default.target ln: creating symbolic link `/etc/systemd/systemd/default.target': No such file or directory

# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target
/etc/systemd/systemd/default.target
here's what i get:
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target /etc/systemd/systemd/default.target ln: creating symbolic link `/etc/systemd/systemd/default.target': No such file or directory
so, it should be:
# ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/graphical.target /etc/systemd/system/default.target
hope it's fixed now :)

I've done this, and rebooted my F14 Alpha system and it seems to work as promised. Graphical bootup worked as it did beforehand.
I also added this to the common bugs page: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F14_bugs#systemd_package_update_breaks...
