This sounds like a python program that uses libglib was sent a sigsegv
(probably due to a bug in libglib) and it did not handle it by the time the
kernel though its should and the kernel was forcing it out.
I'd guess that something might be wrong in libglib.

Not quite sure where/if to BZ.....
The reference to "#prelink#": is it possible that prelink caused this
while it was "moving the carpets under our feet"?
