I rsync'd the latest from
mirrors1.kernel.org::fedora/development/18/x86_64/os
just now and started a pxeboot install.
Anaconda still can not deal with a drive with Fedora on it.
Don't bother setting the time zone during install - Fedora ignores it.
The locale isn't set either.
Ntpd should be loaded so network time can work, but isn't.
When Fedora starts, it takes a long time for the mouse to start working.
The keyboard (SIIG mechanical USB) and mouse (Logitek G500 USB)
are both connected to a USB hub. The keyboard works normally.
Noveau still fails now and then. Until we get a reliable Noveau we should
make it easy to install the Nvidoa driver IMO.

To move away from zingers to something more grounded.. Fedora is not
going to have closed source kernel modules etc in its installer. If
you are needing that versus adding it yourself afterwords then a
distribution like Ubuntu is probably what you are looking for. If you
are ok with installing it afterwords yourself, then it will always be
allowed but problems on a system with the drivers really won't be
'supported'.

I don't insist the Nvidia drivers be included in the install
I don't mind installing Nvidia myself on the machine I care about.
I just wish you wouldn't break it so often.

I just wish you wouldn't break it so often.
We're doing nothing special to break it. Upstream changes and nVidia
has to play catch-up. It's one of the well known perils of using closed
source drivers.

FWIW, I installed TC2 and enabled "Network Time" in both the setup and first
boot phases and chronyd was enabled and running. The only extra effort needed was to
reset the Time Zone after logging in since it didn't stick.
